WhatsApp Opt-in is the permission businesses must obtain from users to send them notifications on WhatsApp. This permission can be taken either directly on WhatsApp or from other channels like the website, checkbox during the signup process & social media ads.
You can now automatically Opt-in/ Opt-out users in AiSensy App with the smart Opt-in Management feature.
In this tutorial, we'll guide you on how you can automatically Opt-in & Opt-out users on AiSensy App.
To set up Optin & Optout for users, go to 'Optin Management' in Manage Section.
Enable API Campaign Opt-out as shown in the image to enable users to get automatically opted-out.
Now let's look at how you can automatically opt-out users in AiSensy.
Any user who replies with these keywords will automatically get opted out of your WhatsApp updates.
*You can add a maximum of 5 Opt-out Keywords in AiSensy App.
In case you wish to personalize the Opt-out message, you can do that easily.
👉Just click Configure message
👉Choose a pre-approved message or create a new one
👉 Choose the message type
👉 Add a new message (if creating a new message 👉 Click on Save Configuration.
Repeat the steps to set automatic WhatsApp Opt-in as performed while setting up Opt-out management.

As shown in the image, when a user replies with an Opt-out keyword, which in this case is STOP, they'll be automatically opted out of receiving future updates on WhatsApp.
Similarly, when a user replies with an Opt-in keyword, which in this case is Opt me in, they'll be automatically opted in to receive future updates on WhatsApp.
